ASL Verifier Terms of Service
These app-specific terms (“App Terms”) govern use of ASL Verifier: A one-to-one face check that compares a person to their own ID and never searches a database.
Relationship to the Master Terms
These App Terms supplement and are incorporated into the Auto Secure Login Master Terms of Service. Both documents apply. If they conflict, these App Terms control only for ASL Verifier and the conflicting subject.
ASL Verifier-specific conditions
- A face result is advisory evidence for a separate system. It never authorizes, approves or completes a sign-in on its own, and a separate second factor is always required.
- Verifier compares a person to the face on their own identity document, one to one. It does not check whether the document is genuine, and it never searches a database.
- You must have the consent of the person being compared and a lawful purpose for the comparison.
- The service is not yet approved for production use. Its results are advisory, and the accuracy figures on its page come from our own measured runs.
Authorized use and information
You must use the application only in a lawful and authorized manner. You are responsible for the accuracy, permissions, consent, and legality of information you enter and for reviewing outputs before relying on or sharing them.
Availability and early-access features
Some features are labelled Early access or In development. They may change, contain errors, or stop without notice, and we do not promise that a feature, integration, source, or result will remain available. The product page states the current status of each surface.
Privacy, communications, and contact
The ASL Verifier privacy notice and the Privacy Policy explain information handling. Any SMS or MMS messaging requires separate consent through the messaging consent directory and is governed by the messaging terms. Use the contact form with questions.
