ASL Shredder Terms of Service
These app-specific terms (“App Terms”) govern use of ASL Shredder: Removes data, then issues a signed receipt that claims only what was actually proven.
Relationship to the Master Terms
These App Terms supplement and are incorporated into the Auto Secure Login Master Terms of Service. Both documents apply. If they conflict, these App Terms control only for ASL Shredder and the conflicting subject.
ASL Shredder-specific conditions
- A receipt claims only what was actually proven. Overwrite is offered only for a confirmed magnetic disk; elsewhere the result is deletion plus an honest record.
- Setting a retention period is policy, not action. Nothing is automatically removed when a period expires.
- Shredder acts through the product that owns an item and never holds a copy of it.
- Using Shredder does not by itself make an organization compliant with any standard; it implements technical controls, and compliance depends on the organization.
Authorized use and information
You must use the application only in a lawful and authorized manner. You are responsible for the accuracy, permissions, consent, and legality of information you enter and for reviewing outputs before relying on or sharing them.
Availability and early-access features
Some features are labelled Early access or In development. They may change, contain errors, or stop without notice, and we do not promise that a feature, integration, source, or result will remain available. The product page states the current status of each surface.
Privacy, communications, and contact
The ASL Shredder privacy notice and the Privacy Policy explain information handling. Any SMS or MMS messaging requires separate consent through the messaging consent directory and is governed by the messaging terms. Use the contact form with questions.
