Sentinel Terms of Service
These app-specific terms (“App Terms”) govern use of Sentinel: Continuous network visibility and rapid, authorized security assessments for defined systems and environments.
Relationship to the Master Terms
These App Terms supplement and are incorporated into the Auto Secure Login Master Terms of Service. Both documents apply. If they conflict, these App Terms control only for Sentinel and the conflicting subject.
Sentinel-specific conditions
- Monitor or assess only networks, devices, accounts, and systems you own or are expressly authorized in writing to test within the approved scope and time window.
- Do not use Sentinel to bypass access controls, disrupt services, exceed authorization, collect unrelated information, or access, alter, or remove data without permission.
- Findings may be incomplete, outdated, false positive, or false negative and do not guarantee that a network or device is secure or compliant.
- Assessment activity can affect systems. Maintain a tested recovery plan, change controls, recovery plans, incident escalation, and qualified professional review appropriate to the environment.
Authorized use and information
You must use the application only in a lawful and authorized manner. You are responsible for the accuracy, permissions, consent, and legality of information you enter and for reviewing outputs before relying on or sharing them.
Availability and early-access features
Some features are labelled Early access or In development. They may change, contain errors, or stop without notice, and we do not promise that a feature, integration, source, or result will remain available. The product page states the current status of each surface.
Privacy, communications, and contact
The Network Sentinel privacy notice and the Privacy Policy explain information handling. Any SMS or MMS messaging requires separate consent through the public Sentinel opt-in page and is governed by the program-specific SMS/MMS terms. Review the project page or use the contact form with questions.
