ASL Therapy Privacy Notice
This notice explains how ASL Therapy collects, uses and protects information, and supplements the Auto Secure Login Privacy Policy. Both apply; where this notice gives more detail or protection for ASL Therapy, it controls for ASL Therapy.
What it collects
- A practice’s clients, appointments, notes, documents, billing and portal messages
- Sign-in with a second factor, and a hash-chained record of every access
Why it is used
To run the practice’s scheduling, documentation, billing, client portal and reviewed reporting.
Where it lives and where it goes
Held for the practice, encrypted at rest. Reminders and receipts go through our email and messaging providers once the practice switches them on; documents sent out go through the ASL file service as expiring, password-protected links.
Who else receives it
- Our email and messaging providers
- Our payment processor, once the practice connects live billing
- The ASL file service, for documents sent out
How long it is kept
Tracked as the practice’s policy; a signed clinical note cannot be deleted through the product.
Sensitive information
Protected health information. A practice that is a HIPAA covered entity must have a business associate agreement with us before it stores protected health information here; the software provides HIPAA-ready safeguards, and compliance is the practice’s program.
Your choices
You are the practice’s client: requests go to the practice, and we help it respond.
More
The product also publishes its own notice, which adds detail. The ASL Therapy App Terms govern use. Privacy requests: contact@autosecurelogin.com, or the contact form.
