Colorado Complaint Access Privacy Notice
This notice explains how Colorado Complaint Access collects, uses and protects information, and supplements the Auto Secure Login Privacy Policy. Both apply; where this notice gives more detail or protection for Colorado Complaint Access, it controls for Colorado Complaint Access.
What it collects
- Public search: nothing personal. The search pages ask you not to enter names, case numbers or complaint facts, and questions are not kept as text
- Telephone complaint service: your contact details, the call transcript, your complaint narrative, supporting evidence you send, the generated documents, and your delivery and filing authorizations
- The $5 telephone fee’s payment status and confirmation reference — never card details
Why it is used
To find the provider or rule, prepare and deliver your complaint, and, when you authorize it, file it.
Where it lives and where it goes
Automated systems transcribe, organize facts and draft documents; a complaint is an allegation, and the receiving agency decides. Card details are collected inside the telephone payment system and processed by our payment processor.
Who else receives it
- Our telephony and messaging provider for the call, texts and evidence messages
- A speech-recognition provider and an outside AI provider for transcription and drafting, receiving only what the task needs
- The agency you choose, at your direction
- Our payment processor for the telephone fee
How long it is kept
Detailed records are encrypted under a per-case key and deleted about 72 hours after filing confirmation or document delivery; a minimal ledger without your identity, and non-identifying statistics, are kept longer.
Sensitive information
Complaints may concern health, mental health, sexual conduct, criminal-justice involvement or family matters.
Your choices
Prepare without filing, file anonymously where the agency allows it, correct or withdraw before submission, or stop the intake at any time.
