ASL Municipal Utilities Privacy Notice

What it collects

• Resident accounts, service addresses, meter readings, bills, payments and work orders, held for the utility
• Staff location only within explicit, opt-in sharing sessions; there is no covert tracking
• Staff sign-in and audit records

Why it is used

To bill water, sewer and trash and run the town office.

Where it lives and where it goes

Online card payment and text messaging are built but stay off until the utility connects its own accounts. Map tiles are requested through our server so that no map key reaches your browser.

Who else receives it

• A map provider, through our server
• The utility’s own payment, messaging and postal accounts, once connected

How long it is kept

Set by the utility’s records schedule.

Your choices

You are the utility’s resident or employee: requests go to the utility, and we help it respond.
