Doctor & NPI Search Terms of Service
These app-specific terms (“App Terms”) govern use of Doctor & NPI Search: A search interface for public CMS NPPES provider and National Provider Identifier records.
Relationship to the Master Terms
These App Terms supplement and are incorporated into the Auto Secure Login Master Terms of Service. Both documents apply. If they conflict, these App Terms control only for Doctor & NPI Search and the conflicting subject.
Doctor & NPI Search-specific conditions
- Public NPPES records can be incomplete, delayed, outdated, duplicated, or reported differently from current practice information.
- An NPI is a federal identifier and does not prove a current professional license, board certification, accepted insurance, appointment availability, clinical quality, or fitness for a particular patient.
- Verify licensing through the appropriate state authority and confirm insurance, services, accessibility, address, and availability directly with the practice.
- The service does not provide medical advice, credential providers, recommend treatment, or replace emergency or professional care.
Authorized use and information
You must use the application only in a lawful and authorized manner. You are responsible for the accuracy, permissions, consent, and legality of information you enter and for reviewing outputs before relying on or sharing them.
Availability and early-access features
Some features are labelled Early access or In development. They may change, contain errors, or stop without notice, and we do not promise that a feature, integration, source, or result will remain available. The product page states the current status of each surface.
