ASL Authorized Security Testing Terms of Service
These app-specific terms (“App Terms”) govern use of ASL Authorized Security Testing: Controlled penetration testing and security validation performed only under a written authorization, scope, schedule, and rules of engagement.
Relationship to the Master Terms
These App Terms supplement and are incorporated into the Auto Secure Login Master Terms of Service. Both documents apply. If they conflict, these App Terms control only for ASL Authorized Security Testing and the conflicting subject.
ASL Authorized Security Testing-specific conditions
- Testing begins only after an authorized representative approves the exact targets, methods, time window, exclusions, emergency contacts, data-handling rules, and stop conditions in writing.
- The customer must own the targets or possess authority to authorize testing. Shared hosting, cloud, vendor, employee, customer, and third-party systems require every additional permission their owners or terms demand.
- Testing can affect availability or data despite precautions. The customer must maintain appropriate backups, monitoring, recovery procedures, change controls, and available technical contacts.
- A report reflects the approved scope and test period and does not guarantee that every vulnerability was found or that a system will remain secure.
Authorized use and information
You must use the application only in a lawful and authorized manner. You are responsible for the accuracy, permissions, consent, and legality of information you enter and for reviewing outputs before relying on or sharing them.
Availability and preview services
Features may be beta, pilot, or prototype services and may change, contain errors, or stop without notice. We do not promise that a feature, integration, source, or result will remain available.
Privacy, communications, and contact
The Privacy Policy explains information handling. Any SMS or MMS messaging requires separate consent through the public ASL Authorized Security Testing opt-in page and is governed by the program-specific SMS/MMS terms. Review the project page or use the contact form with questions.
