ASL Meet Terms of Service
These app-specific terms (“App Terms”) govern use of ASL Meet: Privacy-focused one-to-one and small-group video meetings with account-free guest links, live chat, and optional local recording or screenshots.
Relationship to the Master Terms
These App Terms supplement and are incorporated into the Auto Secure Login Master Terms of Service. Both documents apply. If they conflict, these App Terms control only for ASL Meet and the conflicting subject.
ASL Meet-specific conditions
- Hosts must use an authorized account and are responsible for deciding who receives a meeting link or code, locking the room after expected participants arrive, and removing unauthorized participants.
- Guests may join without an account by providing a display name. Anyone who receives a valid link or code may attempt to use it until the room is locked or ended.
- Call audio and video are protected while the meeting is active. Participants should still use private surroundings, trusted devices, and the room controls provided by the host.
- ASL Meet does not create automatic call recordings, screenshots, or chat transcripts. The service may keep limited records needed to operate the account, protect the meeting, investigate misuse, and meet legal obligations.
- A participant who records, captures, downloads, or shares content is responsible for all notices, permissions, and consents required by law and by every participant. An in-product notice does not replace legal consent.
- ASL Meet is not an emergency, healthcare, legal, or regulated communications service. Do not rely on it for emergencies or highly sensitive regulated meetings without a separate written agreement.
Authorized use and information
You must use the application only in a lawful and authorized manner. You are responsible for the accuracy, permissions, consent, and legality of information you enter and for reviewing outputs before relying on or sharing them.
Availability and early-access features
Some features are labelled Early access or In development. They may change, contain errors, or stop without notice, and we do not promise that a feature, integration, source, or result will remain available. The product page states the current status of each surface.
Privacy, communications, and contact
The ASL Meet privacy notice and the Privacy Policy explain information handling. Any SMS or MMS messaging requires separate consent through the public ASL Meet opt-in page and is governed by the program-specific SMS/MMS terms. Review the project page or use the contact form with questions.
