ASL Timestamp Anchor Privacy Notice
This notice explains how ASL Timestamp Anchor collects, uses and protects information, and supplements the Auto Secure Login Privacy Policy. Both apply; where this notice gives more detail or protection for ASL Timestamp Anchor, it controls for ASL Timestamp Anchor.
What it collects
- A fingerprint of your file, computed on your device
- Local records of file name, size, digest and the signed response, encrypted on the device
Why it is used
To prove a file existed at a point in time without uploading it.
Where it lives and where it goes
Only the fingerprint is sent, directly to an independent public timestamp authority we neither run nor fund. We receive nothing.
Who else receives it
- The independent timestamp authority, which receives the fingerprint
How long it is kept
The on-device locker keeps the 100 most recent records; export proof files you intend to keep.
Your choices
Remove local records individually.
