StubSafe Privacy Notice

This notice explains how StubSafe collects, uses and protects information, and supplements the Auto Secure Login Privacy Policy. Both apply; where this notice gives more detail or protection for StubSafe, it controls for StubSafe.

What it collects

• Pay-statement data you enter, kept in an encrypted vault on your device that you unlock with a passphrase
• Nothing about you on our servers: there is no account and no upload

Why it is used

To create, store and export your own pay statements on your device.

Where it lives and where it goes

Nothing leaves the device except an optional, signed, read-only request for the tax-rules list, which carries no payroll data, identity or location, and optional donations through our payment processor.

Who else receives it

• Our payment processor, only if you donate
• The app store, only if you install the app from one

How long it is kept

Until you delete it or clear the app. We hold no copy and cannot restore one.

Your choices

Erase everything with the one-button local erase; export first anything you need to keep.
