Kavanah Journal Privacy Notice

This notice explains how Kavanah Journal collects, uses and protects information, and supplements the Auto Secure Login Privacy Policy. Both apply; where this notice gives more detail or protection for Kavanah Journal, it controls for Kavanah Journal.

What it collects

• Photos, sealed on your device under a key derived from a passphrase only you hold
• Your account, journal text, milestones, appointments, family permissions and audit records, held by the journal service
• Encrypted backup containers with random names, if you connect your own cloud storage where that is offered

Why it is used

To keep a private family journal that you control.

Where it lives and where it goes

Sealed photos do not leave the device unless you back them up, and then only as encrypted containers. Journal text and account data are held on our systems.

Who else receives it

• Google, only if you sign in with Google or connect a drive for encrypted backups

How long it is kept

Until you delete entries or close the account. A forgotten passphrase cannot be recovered by anyone, including us.

Sensitive information

Photographs and observations about children, recorded by their own parents and caregivers.

Your choices

Export a recovery bundle, delete entries, or request account closure at contact@autosecurelogin.com.
