HomelessHelper Privacy Notice
This notice explains how HomelessHelper collects, uses and protects information, and supplements the Auto Secure Login Privacy Policy. Both apply; where this notice gives more detail or protection for HomelessHelper, it controls for HomelessHelper.
What it collects
- Nothing to find help: no account is needed
- Your location, if you allow it, used to find listings near you and not kept by us
- For providers and volunteers: an Auto Secure Login account and the listings, claims, submissions and review actions you make
Why it is used
To show shelter, food, healthcare and hygiene resources, and to let providers keep listings accurate.
Where it lives and where it goes
The directory needs a connection; no offline copy is stored.
Who else receives it
- Public federal and state resource datasets, which we read and send nothing to
How long it is kept
Provider and volunteer actions are recorded while listings are maintained.
