ASL Files Privacy Notice
This notice explains how ASL Files collects, uses and protects information, and supplements the Auto Secure Login Privacy Policy. Both apply; where this notice gives more detail or protection for ASL Files, it controls for ASL Files.
What it collects
- Files uploaded through the ASL product you use, encrypted at rest
- File names, types and sizes, stored as ordinary text in the index
- Secure-send links and their open counts
Why it is used
To store files behind other ASL products and send one out under a password.
Where it lives and where it goes
The service holds the key that unlocks a file in order to serve it, so it can read a file; it is not end-to-end encrypted.
Who else receives it
- None
How long it is kept
Until deleted through the product that owns the file; links expire on the schedule you choose.
Your choices
Delete a file through your product; a sent link stops at expiry or when the file is deleted.
