APMSG Privacy Notice
This notice explains how APMSG collects, uses and protects information, and supplements the Auto Secure Login Privacy Policy. Both apply; where this notice gives more detail or protection for APMSG, it controls for APMSG.
What it collects
- Family accounts and the contact details you add
- Messages and voicemails exchanged with a person inside
- Credit packages and payment records, once payments are switched on
Why it is used
To run a family-held line and messaging for someone inside, in English or Spanish.
Where it lives and where it goes
Messages and calls travel through our telephony provider; delivery to a facility depends on that facility’s rules. Live calling, messaging and payments are not switched on today.
Who else receives it
- Our telephony and messaging provider
- Our payment processor, once payments are switched on
How long it is kept
Our policy is to keep voicemail recordings no longer than 30 days. Payment and transaction records may be kept up to seven years; security, consent, delivery and abuse-prevention records up to two years.
Sensitive information
Correspondence with an incarcerated person.
Your choices
Account closure is by email request and is handled within 30 days; it is completed by hand and does not yet remove every record automatically.
