ShopFit: stronger catalog, pricing and storefront review
Recent work adds reusable tools for checking product information, bundles, images and storefront changes before they are applied.
Work covered: September 25–October 8, 2026
Keep product facts together
Catalog work now handles more supplier information, pack quantities and product-image comparisons. Image review can distinguish genuinely additional views from the same photograph on a different background. Pricing checks compare like-for-like quantities and hold questionable costs for review instead of blindly applying them. Business-specific results remain private.
Review storefront changes
Reusable tools prepare theme changes, inspect application footprints, identify best-selling products without requesting customer fields, and check bundle savings against their components and costs. Page-weight reports add concrete evidence when a third-party performance score is unavailable. The recent workflow also keeps supplier checks under the owner's control rather than assuming every check should run automatically.
Orders remain deliberate
A new subscription-order workflow prepares a draft for an operator to inspect, with confirmation for a possible duplicate period and a warning when prior shipping also covered one-off items. It is not a claim of automatic recurring charging. Required merchant permissions and approval remain separate. Some work is deployed in authorized operations; reusable tools and development-store checks do not establish universal availability for every store.
