Bars or Badge: a more detailed world with connected consequences
Two weeks of development added depth to rooms, everyday objects, character routines and the relationship between the Lite and 3D experiences.
Work covered: September 25–October 8, 2026
Spaces that show their use
Room work added equipment, lighting, surface wear and more specific props. Corridors, work areas, kitchens and shops were reviewed as places with their own functions rather than interchangeable scenery. Material and placement checks help identify objects that look wrong or obstruct the scene.
Connect actions with the institution
Development connected more inspections, disciplinary responses, health effects, schedules and officer-life situations to the game state. Lite and 3D interfaces received work to present those rules consistently. Updated Lite builds and online-service changes were published during the period, while the larger 3D effort continued through development and review builds.
Progress is not completion
Recent verification repeatedly checked saves, placement, crowds, doors and gameplay behavior, and kept failed animation or scenario checks visible. The latest 3D motion work still has unresolved cases. This update describes a developing game world; it does not announce a completed 3D launch or availability on every planned platform.
