SiteFit: make a requested audit run and a weekly digest arrive once

The October deployment repairs report startup and gives repeated weekly runs a stable identity for email delivery.

Work covered: Oct 6, 2026

A report that never starts leaves no useful result

During the October 6 deployment, acceptance found that the console’s audit command could exit without producing its report. The correction made startup recognize the actual launched report correctly. The check exercised the same kind of launch used by the console rather than relying only on running the file directly in development.

Verify the report the console requested

A report was then produced from the deployed release with the new copy-proposal section. That provided a concrete acceptance point for the user journey: requesting an audit led to an actual report containing the expected new material. Installing newer code alone would not have established that result.

Keep a repeat run from becoming a repeat email

The weekly digest also gained a stable identity for each site and week. If the same weekly work is retried or triggered twice, the delivery path can recognize it as the same digest rather than an unrelated new message. The correction addresses duplication without asking the recipient to sort out repeated reports manually.

One reliability milestone

The deployed update aligns two promises of the audit workflow: a requested report should run, and repeating the same weekly work should not automatically create duplicate mail. It does not claim that all email delivery failures are eliminated. It makes the tested startup and repeat-run cases behave consistently with what the owner expects.
