SiteFit: check generated marketing claims against the business’s own facts
Draft review now flags claims that the business record does not support, across directory copy, FAQs, answer blocks and ads.
Work covered: Oct 6, 2026
Fluent copy can still describe the wrong business
A generated sentence may sound polished while adding a service, qualification or other claim the business never supplied. SiteFit’s October 6 grounding work added a check against the business’s own recorded facts before generated drafts reach review. The purpose is to make unsupported additions visible at the point where someone can still reject or revise them.
Apply the check across draft types
The work covers directory listings, FAQ material, answer blocks and advertising copy. Findings travel with the draft and are also listed in the report. This keeps the review information attached to the proposed content rather than leaving it in a separate diagnostic that the person editing the text may never see.
Distinguish style from a factual claim
The implementation does not treat every enthusiastic punctuation choice as a new business fact. It concentrates on whether the draft says something the supplied business record does not support. That makes the check more useful than a blanket rejection of marketing tone while retaining the need for a person to judge the finished wording.
Deployed as a review aid
The checks were included in the October 6 deployment and tested with the draft workflow. They do not independently verify the truth of the owner’s source facts, and they do not publish copy automatically. The milestone is a clearer review boundary: the draft can be compared with the business it is supposed to describe before it becomes public content.
