Repo Runner: make session cleanup survive the next launch
The October Android candidate checks saved credential and pending-login removal instead of relying only on a signed-out screen.
Work covered: Oct 2, 2026
The screen and saved state must agree
An app can look signed out while still retaining information that affects its next launch. Repo Runner’s October 2 candidate checks durable removal of credentials and pending-login state. The work focuses on the difference between updating the interface now and ensuring that the next process starts from the same intended state.
Handle an unauthorized result promptly
The candidate also invalidates an unauthorized session before reading the response body. That keeps the app’s session decision tied to the response status rather than allowing later response handling to leave the old session in place. The public description does not require exposing the underlying service or credential details to explain the user benefit.
Retain the earlier phone repairs
The September enlarged-text, navigation and connection-cancellation corrections remain in the newer candidate. Controlled emulator journeys and signed-package checkpoints tested the cleanup alongside those existing behaviors. This matters because a lifecycle repair should not undo the recently improved way a person reaches and leaves sign-in.
Candidate, not a new public rollout
Android 1.1.2 was recorded as a signed cleanup candidate. The evidence does not establish a public release, live-account acceptance or purchase activation. Its distinct milestone is that session removal is checked as persistent behavior, not inferred from the appearance of one screen after a button press.
