Outside Access: bring in the message, once, and honor the selected option
Incoming-message repairs and clearer menu-choice handling reconnect a person’s request with the workflow they intended to use.
Work covered: Sep 29, 2026 – Oct 2, 2026
An unread request cannot become useful work
The late-September review found that an incoming message could remain unopened instead of entering the request workflow. The repair changed the supported inbox interaction so the actual message was opened and read. Later verification followed a received request through ingestion, establishing that the correction reached the real message journey.
Treat a new message as new without duplicating it
Follow-up work corrected date handling and used the message’s own identity to prevent repeated ingestion. The two concerns belong together: a message arriving today should not be skipped because of how a date is displayed, and a message already taken in should not become a second request simply because the inbox is checked again.
Respect ordinary menu language
Another observed request used wording such as “option #3.” The classifier had not treated that as the intended menu choice. The correction recognizes ordinary ways of naming an option and routes the request accordingly. A person should not need to guess an exact machine phrase to choose the feature that the menu already offers.
Verified without publishing conversations
The dated record includes live ingestion and routing acceptance, while personal message contents remain private. The milestone is reliability at the beginning of the workflow: receive the request, avoid a duplicate and honor its explicit choice. It does not claim unrestricted support for every messaging service or every possible form of natural-language ambiguity.
