Communication
ASL Meet improves phone calls, joining and enlarged-text chat
Android corrections address call startup, stale meeting codes and controls that could become difficult to reach on smaller screens.
Work covered: September 25–October 8, 2026
Join the meeting you intended
Editing an invitation code now cancels stale lookup results, and leaving cancels pending connection work. Delayed permission results cannot join a replacement code that has not been validated. The optimized release build also received a correction for a native call-start failure.
Keep controls within reach
Phone call controls wrap into usable rows with full translated labels. Participant counts and camera status are clearer. An empty chat now reserves room for its composer and Send button when the keyboard is open, including at enlarged text sizes. English and Spanish journeys covered normal and enlarged layouts.
Recorded release status
Android 2.0.3 was submitted to the existing closed Alpha review on September 29. That submission is not a public rollout. Separate October 8 session-expiry and sign-in separation work was recorded as a source change awaiting deployment; it must not be confused with the Android call and chat corrections.
