Doctor Search keeps search modes reachable with enlarged text
The Android correction addresses a disappearing tab and crowded rows that could prevent a person from choosing the intended search.
Work covered: September 25–October 8, 2026
Do not lose a mode when text grows
Phone testing reproduced an enlarged layout in which the DEA tab disappeared. The candidate adjusts the mode and action layouts so the controls remain reachable when both text and display size increase. English and Spanish checks cover the different label lengths rather than assuming one language's fit proves the other.
Check the task as well as the layout
Validation included organization-search and local-validation journeys in the separate test build, together with normal and enlarged physical-phone layouts. The purpose is to preserve a usable search workflow, not merely produce an unclipped screenshot. Existing search scope and source limitations remain unchanged.
Recorded release status
Version 2.1.4 was documented as a candidate on September 28. A release-signing issue remained unresolved, so no upload or new public release was claimed. The correction also did not deploy a new backend. Search results should still be checked against their source; making a mode visible does not certify a professional's credentials or suitability.
