AI Hub improves image options and failed-request feedback
The shared AI service gained more supported image choices and clearer failure information for the applications that use it.
Work covered: September 25–October 8, 2026
Choose an appropriate image format
The image integration was expanded to accept the documented quality and size choices supported by its provider. Applications can request a format suited to a scene or a design sheet while remaining within their configured budget. This is a capability of the shared integration; each consuming application still chooses its own defaults and available options.
Explain an unsuccessful request
When a provider supplies a recognized error code, the failed response can carry that code without exposing the full provider response. Outside Access uses this distinction to explain an image refusal and stop repeating an unsuccessful request. Planning refusals that made no provider attempt can be reconsidered instead of being treated as completed work.
Availability
The supporting image and failure-reporting changes were deployed during this period. Documentation and price verification were also incorporated into the release workflow. These checks help keep supported routes current; they do not make an image request free, guarantee a provider will accept it, or establish that every AI Hub interface exposes identical image controls.
