ASL Tunnel improves both staff and customer Android journeys
The two Android apps received focused corrections for phone layouts, sign-in handoff and larger-text navigation.
Work covered: September 25–October 8, 2026
Staff-app improvements
The staff app's dialogs and sign-in routing were corrected, alongside layouts that crowded controls on a phone. Verification covered returning from the browser, cancellation, refresh, forgetting a connection and sign-out. Dialog privacy remained part of the review rather than being removed to simplify testing.
Customer-app improvements
The customer app gained better enlarged-text layouts and navigation, and its app-link association was corrected for the customer edition. Review scenarios included returning from sign-in, retaining the selected organization during an upgrade, reopening the app and following Help and policy links. The staff and customer editions remain separate products with separate release records.
Recorded release status
Staff Android 0.2.1 reached internal testing on September 28. Customer Android 1.0.1 was submitted to closed Alpha review that day. Neither record establishes a public production rollout. This update changed the phone clients; it did not announce new access permissions, route changes or a replacement of the running service.
