ASL Files keeps secure-send controls visible above the keyboard
A focused Android layout correction improves a workflow that can become cramped when the keyboard and enlarged text share a phone screen.
Work covered: September 25–October 8, 2026
Finish the form without fighting the screen
The secure-send layout was corrected for keyboard-open and larger-text conditions. This is the point where an otherwise readable screen can lose its primary action or force awkward scrolling. The update concentrates on keeping the relevant entry and action areas usable within the available space.
Preserve the existing access boundaries
This layout work does not turn the native app into a new unrestricted file browser or expand who can access a share. The existing distinction between receiving a secure share and entering an authorized workspace remains. A more accessible send screen is not permission to change the underlying file-access model.
Recorded release status
The September 28 source and signed-candidate records cover the phone correction. Files still retained a public-rollout hold in its release documentation. The article therefore describes a tested candidate improvement rather than a new public app launch. Distribution and end-to-end access acceptance remain separate from verifying that a button stays reachable with the keyboard open.
